The DG driver licencing form will be sent to all clients prior to attending any course. This must be brought to the course. This form further explains many of the above pre-requisites. Most of the licencing pre-requisites need not be completed prior to attending the course, however all applicants must fully familiarise themselves with the pre-requisites. Contact should be made with Chemtrain Services prior to attending a course if an applicant is unsure if they can comply with these pre-requisites.

Participants will undertake competency-based training, utilising actual and or simulated models, vehicles and equipment provided.
Our Accredited Trainer/Assessor has over 35 years of experience working with dangerous goods and training, and will help to facilitate learning via numerous activities, which may be theoretical, simulated, observational, workplace or scenario based. Learning may be undertaken individually, in pairs or small groups as required.

Assessments: Participants are required to undertake an "open book" assessment during and/or at the completion of the course. The assessment may take 2-4 hours. This "open book"  assessment  allows reference to:  The ADG Code, current Dangerous Goods legislation, Hazchem Codes handouts and students own individual notes taken. All required assessment reference material is supplied to each student.

All questions are to be attempted and competency can only be achieved when an applicant eventually correctly answers or demonstrates competency in all questions. Full details about the assessment are provided in writing prior to the assessment. Ensure reading glasses where needed are brought along to the course.
